Erna Karalija is employed as an associated professor at Faculty of Science, University of Sarajevo. She completed her undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD studies at the University of Sarajevo.Her research interests are mechanisms of plant defence systems induced by priming and their potential use in agronomy for crop improvement, in phytoremediation and in plant resistance against herbivores.
